Gateway Atrium Renovation
at Discovery Gateway
The Gateway Atrium is a public space and thoroughfare renovated by the Discovery Gateway Children’s Museum. This renovation was produced in-house by Discovery Gateway and was opened in the winter of 2020.
The Gateway Atrium serves as a thoroughfare for the Gateway mall in Salt Lake City as well as the entrance to the Discovery Gateway Children’s Museum. Renovations to this space were conducted to repair a number of existing experiences, add multiple new experiences, and refresh the look and feel of the space.
I was an exhibits coordinator and fabricator for this project in collaboration with members of Discovery Gateway Children’s Museum.
My part in the process included the repair of multiple repair and refresh of multiple exhibits, development of photo opportunities, graphic design, project coordination, and installation.
